PRESERVING ART & CULTURE

ONE COLLECTION AT A TIME

Flux Art Conservation is an art conservation studio with expertise in treating modern and contemporary art and other art objects. This woman-owned studio located in Philadelphia, PA provides professional, specialized services for the treatment and care of artworks for private individuals, galleries, foundations, and museums throughout the Northeast and the United States.

All art is in a constant state of ‘flux’ - a battle against time, use, and agents of deterioration.

Through preventive strategies and interventive treatment, materials can be preserved to maintain the meaning and significance intended by the original artist. To conserve the unique and diverse materials used by contemporary artists, conservators must be constantly seeking new understandings of how non-traditional materials change and degrade.
