Our Studio

Our purpose is to help art collectors, museum professionals, and communities maintain their treasures.

Our 2,000 square foot studio in Philadelphia is specifically outfitted to meet the varied conservation needs of contemporary art. The open floor plan provides a flexible and multi-functional space, allowing us to take on a variety of projects of varying sizes. We have an ample supply of natural light for the effective examination and treatment of your artwork and a dedicated photography space to capture high-quality photographs for examination and documentation purposes.

Security

The studio is monitored 24/7 by a central station alarm system for both security and fire purposes and is equipped with a museum-grade sprinkler system throughout. We carry both liability and fine art insurance policies, proof of which can be provided upon request. The studio is climate-controlled via a dedicated HVAC and humidification system and personally monitored.

Safety

In compliance with the Code of Ethics and Guidelines for Practice set forth by The American Institute of Conservation of Historic and Artistic Works, the professional association of conservators, the studio is equipped with health and safety equipment for the protection of both staff and artwork.

Transportation Needs

Our relationship with Atelier Fine Art Services offers the safe delivery of oversized works to the studio is easy and convenient. There are also regular shuttles between Philadelphia and New York City for our current and future New York City area clients. Although we always recommend the use of a professional art handling and transport company, we do have off-street parking in a dedicated lot right in front of the studio for clients personally dropping or picking up works of art. Our off-street parking is also convenient if you would like to visit the studio and meet with our staff prior to scheduling a treatment. Always feel welcome to contact us to schedule a visit.
